Limited Warranty

2-Year Limited Hardware Warranty

UniHard LLC warrants that your UNI Hardware Wallet will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase when used under normal conditions.

1. Warranty Coverage

This limited warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials
  • Workmanship defects in the hardware
  • Failure of the secure element chip
  • Display malfunctions not caused by user damage
  • Button or connectivity failures
  • Battery defects (for models with batteries)

Firmware Updates

We provide free firmware updates for the lifetime of the product to ensure continued security and compatibility with new cryptocurrencies.

2. What Is NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Accidents, misuse, or abuse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Exposure to water, moisture, or extreme temperatures
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Use of non-approved accessories
  • Software issues caused by user actions
  • Loss of cryptocurrency due to user error
  • Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect functionality

Important Security Notice

Before sending your device for warranty service, you must completely wipe all data and restore to factory settings. We are not responsible for any cryptocurrency loss resulting from warranty service.

3. Warranty Claim Process

Step 1: Contact Support

Email [email protected] with your order number, device serial number, and description of the issue. Include photos if applicable.

Step 2: Troubleshooting

Our support team will guide you through diagnostic steps to determine if the issue can be resolved without device replacement.

Step 3: Authorization

If hardware replacement is needed, we'll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and prepaid shipping label.

Step 4: Device Preparation

Wipe all data from the device, restore to factory settings, and package securely with original accessories.

Step 5: Shipping

Send the device to our warranty center using the provided shipping label. We recommend using tracking and insurance.

Step 6: Replacement

We'll inspect the device and send a replacement within 5-7 business days if the warranty claim is approved.

4. Warranty Terms

Proof of Purchase

You must provide proof of purchase (order confirmation, invoice, or receipt) to claim warranty service. Keep these documents in a safe place.

Replacement Devices

Replacement devices may be new or refurbished units that meet our quality standards. Replaced devices are covered by the remainder of the original warranty period.

International Warranty

This warranty is valid worldwide. International customers may need to pay for return shipping and customs fees, which will be clearly communicated during the RMA process.

5. Software and Firmware

While the hardware is covered by this warranty, software and firmware are provided "as-is" with no warranty, except for:

  • Critical security updates
  • Bug fixes that affect core functionality
  • Compatibility updates for new cryptocurrency standards

6. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is your sole remedy for defective products. Our liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective device. We are not liable for:

  • Lost cryptocurrency or digital assets
  • Data recovery or reconstruction
  • Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
  • Business interruption or lost profits
  • Use of third-party services or software

7. Extended Warranty

Extended warranty plans may be available for purchase separately. Contact our sales team for information about extended coverage options beyond the standard 2-year period.

8. Consumer Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. This warranty does not limit any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

9. Warranty Disclaimers

Except for the express warranty stated above, UNI Hardware Wallets are provided "as-is" without any other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
